This app is great for pre-school children and reception / year 1 children. Reading Magic is a fun, colourful and educational app that your children will find easy to use. Each section of the app begins with a plain picture that is crying out for colour. The child selects which object, person or animal they wish to begin spelling. The letters that they touch are spoken to them using phonics and once the letters are placed to form the word, that section of the picture is coloured in. There are plenty of levels to keep them occupied and all words to spell are 3 and 4 letters. Once they complete the levels they can choose to go back to the ones that they particularly enjoyed to improve their score. My 4 year old took to this app quickly as did my 7 year old who has dyspraxia and some learning delay.
